ABOUT ME
I've worked in finance and accounting for the past 13 years. Over the years I’ve assisted business owners with their financial modeling, P+L and cash flow management, financial budgeting and forecasting, as well as the accounting side with bookkeeping, inventory management, payroll, and everything else in between.
Most accounting people do not understand finance, and most finance people do not understand accounting. I straddle both sides and have deep operational knowledge of both. Some of clients hire me because they are tired of the disjointedness of their accounting and finance departments and utilize me as their trusted personal CFO. Other clients hire me because they think they just need bookkeeping, but upon working with me find that they also need a CFO. I’m a CFO and accountant all in one... and I love it :)
I am extremely aware of how busy business owners and entrepreneurs are, and how they are simply looking for support from a trusted advisor... it’s one less thing to have to worry about. It's my promise to you to not just provide exceptional service and results, but also be someone who feels like an integrated part of your team rather than another outsourced consultant that you “hope” can do great work.
I have experience in finance, accounting, operations, startups, e-commerce, and have worked with clients in real estate, fashion, advertising, entertainment, restaurants, spa, wellness, tech, events, and many more. I have also managed to almost exclusively work with conscious companies whose mission is centered around building a people first business.
On a personal level, I discovered mindfulness and its benefits post college and used it to support my corporate career in finance and accounting. After years of working for corporations, I realized the cubicle life was no longer serving me and decided to take a more active role in inspiring others to live in alignment with building their business but without sacrificing a piece of themselves in the process. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the most intentional and conscious businesses helping them with their finance and accounting needs.
Along the way, many of my personal side projects included supporting the launch of an intimate event with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, joining the co-founding team of a conscious event ticketing platform, co-founding a women’s coworking + wellness monthly event series.
I believe that we are all capable of creating our dream business, we just need the tools necessary to balance the physical and the intentional.
